You will also analyze the issue or topic’s relationship to culture and society. Once you submit this Milestone One assignment, be sure to wait until your instructor has graded it and has approved your issue or topic before starting on the remaining Milestones for the project.

For this second milestone, you will analyze your issue or event in diversity through the first two lenses introduced in this course: history and the humanities. This will provide you with a chance to practice analyzing your issue or event through these lenses. You will receive feedback on this practice attempt.

For this third milestone, you will reflect on content that will inform your multimedia presentation, which you will include in Final Project Part Two. You will reflect on the intersectional nature of diversity and its impact on one’s individual framework of perception, one’s discipline of study, and society in general. The milestone will be submitted as a presentation draft that includes speaker’s notes.
