It can be very nerve-wracking to do so in classrooms or in more professional settings; especially when we are passionate about what we are talking about. When I was in high school, we had a class that my english teacher did called “Public Speaking”. A lot of students enrolled in the class. They said it was hard, considering they had to write their own papers and presentations and then present them, but from what they said was that it benefited them greatly. A lot of them felt more comfortable and confident in their abilities to speak in front of crowds or even a classroom. Although we are at the age where we do not really have that option available to us, it would be great to stress to the younger generation to help them in their future.
